Carlos Aguero

Carlos Aguero received his BS in Entomology from the University of California, Riverside in 2014.  As an undergraduate his primary research focused on the study of alternative pest control applications for bed bugs.  As a PhD student in the Texas A&M University Center for Urban and Structural Entomology, Carlos is researching how various ecological factors influence the population structure of the subterranean termite, Reticulitermes flavipes with the goal of applying the tools used in population genetics to solve pest management problems in urban environments.
