The 71st Texas A&M University Urban Pest Management Conference and Workshop invites you and your company to exhibit at the next workshop to be held on January 11-13, 2017 at the Brazos Center, in Bryan, TX. The exhibits may be set up either on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 3:00-5:00pm, OR on Wednesday, January 11, from 7:00-8:00 am. The exhibit area will be set up in the exhibit room, next to the main room.
The first session will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday. A breakfast buffet will be provided Wednesday morning, beginning at 7:00am, in the exhibit area for exhibitors and staff.
The exhibition fee is $700 per table, AND it includes THREE (3) full registrations to the conference. Additional personnel from your company may register for the Conference at $100 each. Most tables will have electricity and pipe/draping, but please provide your own table covers. The deadline for exhibitor registration or REFUND is December 1, 2016. Just like last year, Booth spaces will not be appointed in advance. Your booth space will be based on “first come, first serve” beginning at 3:00pm on Tue., Jan. 10. (Payments still need to be sent in in advance as early as possible.) Directions, lodging and program information can be found at our website, which is pcoconference.tamu.edu (don’t use the “www”).
An Exhibitors’ Forum is scheduled from 3:00-3:15pm on Wednesday and from 10:00-10:30 am on Thursday. Each exhibitor will be allowed up to 5 minutes on the program to present information on new products/technologies/services available to the industry. Beverages for the breaks will be set up for self-service in the exhibitors’ area, thus allowing more time to mingle with attendees.
On Friday, we will be hosting three hands-on short courses covering vector control & methods, a “mini” termite school, and 4-hour fumigation. The vector program will be conducted at the Chapel on the Riverside Campus, off of Hwy 47 & Hwy 21, Bryan, and will be led by Janis Reed. The mini termite school will be held at Riverside campus in the IMS Bldg, and will be led by Robert Puckett. The fumigation will be conducted at the Rollins Urban & Structural Entomology Facility, and will be led by Bryan Springer and Ed Vargo. These hands-on programs will be limited to the first 30 pre-registrants only (per session), and will not cost any additional fee.
The Exhibitors’ Forum is popular, and we would like to continue it in the future. The only negative aspect that came from the evaluations was that the noise from the exhibitor area made it difficult for people to hear the speakers in the main hall. We are looking forward to working with you at the upcoming conference. Again, I would like to express our appreciation for your continuing support of this important program. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.
